Two-Win Weekend
Lee Westwood and Miguel Ángel Jiménez followed up impressive Masters performances with dominating wire-to-wire victories on the European and Champions tours, respectively. Westwood, after a 7th at The Masters, gave the Ketsch putter its first win with a seven-shot victory at the Maybank Malaysian Open. Jiménez, who was fourth at The Masters at age 50, earned the Greater Gwinnett Championship title in his debut on the Champions Tour. Westwood made 23 birdies for the week and made several long putts with his Ketsch in a bogey-free 4-under 68in the final round. Jiménez, who won the Hong Kong Open in December, became the first player in history to win European and Champions tour events in the same season.
